• Remove the plastic film 2 hours after the procedure. Wash your hands before removing the film or touching the tattoo.
• After removing the film, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap. Do not scrub. Pat dry with a clean disposable paper towel and allow it to air dry.
• When the tattoo feels dry, apply a very thin layer of fragrance-free lotion or tattoo aftercare balm. Do not use scented products or over-moisturize.
• Keep the tattoo clean. Do not pick, scratch or peel scabs or flaking skin.
• Wear clean, loose clothing over the area and protect it from dirt and friction.

• Do not submerge the tattoo in water until it is fully healed. Healing typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. This includes swimming pools, hot tubs, baths, oceans and lakes.
• While the tattoo heals, avoid strenuous exercise or activities that cause heavy sweating, stretching or friction at the tattoo site. Resume normal activity gradually as the area heals.
• For 2 to 3 weeks, avoid gardening, contact with animals and anything that exposes the tattoo to dirt or bacteria.
• Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight while healing. After it has healed, use sunscreen to reduce fading.

Seek medical care promptly if redness, swelling, warmth or tenderness becomes worse instead of better; if red streaks extend from the tattoo toward the heart; or if you develop fever, pus/purulent drainage, severe pain, a widespread rash, difficulty breathing or another concerning reaction.
